Hi! I'm Mari. When I'm not busy being an engineering student, I'm a stay at home mom. I
often find myself laughing at my daughter, arguing about being an American in
Laredo, TX: a border city where Spanish is required, English is optional, and,
I suppose like everyone else, wanting to document our life, so I decided to
blog about it.
I met my husband, Luis, August 2003, the week before I started high school and he started his senior year. Luis just got his degree in political science, although he works in student housing and likes it there.
Our daughter was born on January 17, 2011.

We got married on September 30, 2011. We didn't elope, but we did have a very nontraditional wedding because we didn't want to not be married anymore

December 2011 we found out we are expecting another little one. I'm due August 2012, and things are a little crazy as we prepare for her arrival.
